☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
In the morning,
I went to Miyashimaguchi station by tram from Hiroshima station. It took 40 minutes. A journey by train will only take 20 minutes though.
I took a ferry from Miyashitagochi to Miyajima.
Before that, I went to a popular
traditional Japanese styled restaurant,
there is famous for it's Anago-Don.
I ordered a regular sized Anago-Don.
It was 1,738yen.
In the afternoon, Let's go to Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima!! There are two go to Miyashima, one is a JR terminal, the other is operated by the city. I went to the JR one. Miyajima, there was heavy rain and thunder, so I couldn't really enjoy my self there. This is the best known 'tolii' gate. ![]()
This is the entrance.
The admission fee was 300 yen.
Open 6:30am - Close 5:00pm.
When I entered the shrine, I followed the traditional j apanese way; 1, Rinsed my hands 2, 'Cleansed' my self with incense smoke 3, Prayed 4, Threw a coin into the donation box for good luck
